College Tech Fest
I always used to get fascinated by the birds of paradise and their intricate dance to impress the one, they connect to. I use to envy them. In 2020, the person whom I connect with was coming to my college tech fest and I took this opportunity to feel just like a Western Parotia who is preparing the stage for the show. This time I too was playing the same role and the only best thing I can do to make an impact is to present a visual luring. That was the driving force behind decorating my college for the tech fest.
Just like me, she is also more or less interested in mythology and animals. So I thought why not keep the theme related the same with a touch of technical aesthetics and neon glow.

The Story
One fine day, the hacker-man, The Humanoid, could not tolerate students being frustrated by the given assignments and work pressure & decides to invade the college to destroy the rules. He calls upon his spider-shaped robots (which he called as Spi-Robots) and sent them to the college through a spaceship that looked like a meteor. On reaching the Earth, they got down and started marching towards the institution. They reached the Haldia Institution of Technology and breached the security system before & hacked it completely. The main Spi-Robot declares its victory over it and launched the Techno-Management Fest of Haldia Institute of Technology named Prayukti for the year 2020. After the victory, he informs The Humanoid, who in this immense joy blinked his eyes to show us the extravagant events that we are having here!

The Poster
An illustration of Medusa in a technical aesthetics was created for the main poster

After the release of the poster, a change in the date of the event was made by the higher authority. So I made a short motion graphics for this announcement. The video was kept short to be easily shareable through WhatsApp Stories.
This was mainly created for creating hype among the students about the upcoming fest and it's events. Below are some shots from the same.

This is such a project in which I take immense pride. I have worked on it days and nights together for molding my dreams in the eyes of my viewers. I have nagged and disturbed people in the frustrating times when I failed to put things together. I'm satisfied with the outcome. Thanks to them for their constant support and believe in me. Thanks to the whole team for working with me and helping me to make an impression. Thanks to YouTube and Internet for your kind tutorials.
These all are hand-crafted with love. When I look back on this project I realize how immature the work is and in spite of this, I take immense pride in this project!
