Neon Experiment
Nataraj is a depiction of the Hindu God Shiva as the divine cosmic dancer. His dance is called Tandavam or Nadanta, depending on the context of the dance. This pose and artwork are described in many Hindu texts such as the Anshumadbhed Agama and Uttarakamika Agama. The dance murti featured in all major Hindu temples of Shaivism, is a well-known sculptural symbol of India and is popularly used as a symbol of Indian culture.
In my college, I was asked to create a poster for the upcoming Annual Cultural Meet. I found no better concept other than Nataraj for the central theme. I also tried to put a neon glow on it.
I also tried making a motion graphics out of the same illustration. Here it is!
