Painting
A thangka is a Tibetan Buddhist painting on cotton, silk appliqué, usually depicting a Buddhist deity, scene, or mandala.

Here I did the painting on 3 sliced pieces of paper and then separated and pasted it over a piece of black cloth. I wanted to achieve a contemporary multi-panel painting look. Here it is.
This painting was done on the occasion of Buddha Purnima. Acrylic paint and soft pastel have been used to make this painting.
